A stunning, cinematic documentary about the life and work of Paul Gauguin, filmed in Tahiti, France, the Marquesas Islands and the UK. Focusing on one of the world’s most popular and important artists, the screening includes a 60 minute documentary and a 30 minute private view of the exhibition. The first ever exhibition devoted to his portraits, the coverage includes commentary and insights from world experts, artists and Gauguin’s descendants.

Following the murder of a mutual friend, aspiring con man Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford) teams up with old pro Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman) to take revenge on the ruthless crime boss responsible, Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw). Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, one so crafty that Lonnegan won't even know he's been swindled. As their big con unfolds, however, things don't go according to plan, requiring some last-minute improvisation by the undaunted duo.

Lindsey was 22 when her boyfriend left after she decided to get a mastectomy following her breast surgery. Lizzie and Justin dreamed of starting their own family after getting married, but thyroid cancer treatment put an end to those plans. Join these three on their journey with other young adult cancer survivors into the wilderness of Utah and Wyoming, and into the wilderness of themselves, where they seek to learn ways to give back their hearts to themselves, to the strangers who have loved them.
Following the film, we will have a talk-back discussion with the Film’s Director (Mr. Frey Hoffman), TNT’s Founder and Executive Director (Dr. David Victorson), and young adult cancer survivors and caregivers followed in the film (Ms. Lizzie Davis and her husband Justin, and Ms. Lindsey Shelton Deitterick).
