Bring a monologue, get a monologue. ATC Director Carole Dibo lends her expertise to the challenge of mastering the monologue audition. Each actor will bring a monologue that they have previously prepared, and receive one chosen for them. Students will have the opportunity to work both pieces in class. Learn how to effectively execute specific choices using given circumstances and intent, for a polished, dynamic monologue audition.

On-Camera Division: Technique

A specific skill set is required for a powerful, truthful on-camera performance.  This essential skills class provides a comprehensive overview of on-camera technique.  Students will shoot in our professional studio, work from industry copy, and analyze their work as it is played back each week.

Improv Division: Improv Boot Camp (Level 1)

In 6 weeks you'll learn all the basics of improvisation: confidence in every choice you make, commitment to see those choices through to the end, and surrendering your own ideas to the larger group. Skills that will not only make you a better performer, but a better human being as well!

Musical Theatre Division: Acting Through Song (Level 1)

Musical theatre performances are powerful when song furthers both the character's journey and the play's central story. This class takes the five W's (who, what, where, when and why) and applies them to song. This class will culminate in a final performance for friends and family.
