This unique summer program creates two original films straight from the students’ imaginations, utilizing
improv, screenwriting, and creative drama. The ensemble of young actors will shoot their original films under the direction of a professional videographer and their core acting instructors. Students are encouraged to look at the world around them and find what moves them as actors and writers. Their films will be screened for the public at the Wilmette Theatre on Aug. 11th.
Taught by Stephanie Chavara (4th-5th) and Philip Markle (6th-8th) and David Singer (Videographer)

"ATC offers the best actor training for teens and young adults in the Midwest. Carole sets the bar high, which will always make ATC the first stop when looking for young talent in Chicago." -- Geoff Soffer
New York Casting Director (Ugly Betty)
"I just wanted to say thank you once again for a fabulous year at ATC. Between both my daughters, we have experienced many acting classes throughout the city and yours were far superior. The enthusiasm and creative energy you bring to class creates an incredible experience for all the kids. They learned a lot, but more importantly felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves. I have been recommending you to everyone I know with kids who enjoy acting." -- Leslie Bond, Parent
"I am delighted to add my enthusiastic support for the dynamic team at the Actor's Training Center and the marvelouswork they are doing with actors. Cutting edge, full of heart, parent-friendly and student-centered -- the Actor's Training Center of Wilmette meets the needs of students in innovative, engaging ways and is a most welcome addition for families seeking meaningful opportunities in the arts." -- Rives Collins
